This is an annual event held in honour of Lord Rodger (who delivered the first Jean Clark Memorial Lecture) and in 2018 the speaker was Lord Reed (the Deputy President of the Supreme Court in the UK) and the topic was “The Judge as Law-maker”.

167 delegates attended the lecture and were treated to a thought-provoking seminar delivered by one of the most senior judges in the country.
