In 2019/20 we made grants to assist with undergraduate and postgraduate course fees and living expenses, attending international events, legal publications and research, dramatic reconstructions, and for a series of public seminars.
Awards made in 2019/20 include the following:
International Law Week
The Foundation made an award to Abertay University to enable students to participate in International Law Week 2020, organised by the University College UC Leuven-Limberg in Belgium. More
Scottish Child Law Centre
The Foundation provided funding to Scottish Child Law Centre which was used to improve the legal service provided by the Centre’s free email and telephone advice service. More
UK Surrogacy Law Reform
The Foundation provided funding to Dr Katarina Trimmings of University of Aberdeen School of Law to conduct empirical research into the problem of surrogacy arrangements and their regulation in Scotland, from the perspective of local judges and legal practitioners. More
Supporting Undergraduate and Postgraduate Students
