For the fifth year in succession, the Foundation helped fund the attendance of a team of students from The University of Dundee to represent Scotland in the finals of the Telders International Moot Court Competition in The Hague.
The team mooted on a fictitious case before judges from the International Court of Justice. The case, focused on issues concerning the Convention on the Elimination of All Forms of Racial Discrimination (CERD), state immunity and state responsibility. The memorial portion of the competition provided a unique academic opportunity to learn, replacing the students 4th year dissertation.
The experience provided an opportunity for law students to network, to learn about international law in depth and to learn key skills for professional practice.
